Research Experience:

Dr Che Azlan Taib is the Universiti Utara Malaysia lecturer in Quality Management and Quality Management System at the School of Technology Management and Logistics. He holds a first degree in Bachelor of Economic, a Masters degree in Information Management and doctorate in Quality Managemet. His PhD research examined the implementation and relationship among Quality Management System, customers and employees satisfaction and organization performance in service insdustry.      

Dr Che Azlan has practical experience in both the private and public sectors in Malaysia. His experience in manufacturing and service industry includes responsibilities in production planning, quality assurance, internal quality auditor, problem solving facilitator, strategic management and the management of institutional department such as Institute Quality Management and Disaster Management Institute.

He joined Universiti Utara Malaysia as lecturer in 2011 as a Senior Lecturer in Operation Management. In 2016 he was promoted as an Associated Professor in Quality management. Dr Che Azlan taught Quality Management System, Quality Management and Research Methodology both at undergraduate and postgraduate levels.

Dr Che Azlan has conducted many consultancy projects. He has involved in the implementation of strategic planning and quality improvement program mainly in service industries. Recently he was appointed by Marine Fishery Resources Developmet and Management Department (MFRDMD) as a project evaluation under CBP4OICC in Bangladesh from 17 – 21 June 2019. Current areas of interest include risk management, disaster management, strategic quality planning, quality innovation and the area of performance measurement.

Dr Che Azlan has published numerous articles in the areas of OPERATION MANAGEMENT, QUALITY IMPROVEMENT, QUALITY INNOVATION, ORGANIZATIONAL PERMORMANCE, CO-MANAGEMENT, QUALITY MANAGEMENT, CUSTOMER LOYALTY AND SATISFACTION, QUALITY MODEL AND QUALITY TOOLS
